Cricket South Africa hosted their annual cricket awards in Johannesburg with most of the Proteas players present.

The day started with the Pipeline line awards that were hosted during the day. In those awards, Deidre van Rensburg won Division 2 player of the year. The SA u19 opening batter deserved the award as she dominated Division 2 with the bat and helped North West Dragons get promoted.
Western Province’ young promising all-rounder Miya Lalor won the CSA U16 Week player of the tournament, and Janicke van Rensburg from the Titans won the CSA U19 Week player of the tournament.
The evening awards started with Shaun Pretorius being named Hollywoodbets Pro Series Coach of the Year. The awards moved to domestic players in the Pro Series, with Sune Luus winning the Hollywoodbets Pro50 player of the Year and Proteas u19 captain, Kayla Reyneke winning Hollywoodbets Pro20 Player of the Year. Nondumiso Shangase took the Domestic Players-Player of the Year award and SA Emerging captain Leah Jones took the SACA MVP award.
The night moved to the Nonkululeko Mlaba featuring Annerie Dercksen and Ayanda Hlubi segment. Dercksen won the ODI Player of Year, and Hlubi won the International Newcomer of the year. The rest of the awards went to Mlaba, including Player of The Year, Players-Player of the Year, T20 Player of Year, and Delivery of the Year. In total the Dolphins Cricket Union was the big winner on the night with Mlaba contributing 4 awards, Shangase 1, Keshav Maharaj (Men’s Player of the Year) and JJ Smuts (One Day Player of the year) and Dolphins captain Prenalin Subrayen (SACA MVP).
